Stanislav Dudka serves as Head of Power Desk Europe at D.TRADING, the energy trading arm of DTEK Group and one of the fastest-growing market players in Central and Eastern Europe. With over a decade of experience in electricity markets, he brings a strategic vision for developing agile, profitable, and future-oriented trading operations across the region.

Mr. Dudka joined DTEK in 2013 and was instrumental in launching and scaling the company’s power trading activities, initially focused on Ukrainian cross-border flows. Over time, he expanded the portfolio to cover a wide geographic footprint—from Greece to Poland—establishing a strong commercial presence in key European markets.

In 2024, he was appointed to lead D.TRADING’s European power trading expansion, with the ambition of positioning the company as the leading player in Eastern Europe.

He is a graduate of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, one of Ukraine’s top academic institutions, and holds an Executive MBA from the joint program of Lviv Polytechnic and Academy DTEK.

Gareths work spans the origination, structuring and assessment of renewable energy investments, with particular emphasis on development-stage bankability, risk allocation, and financing viability.

His current specialist focus includes battery energy storage systems (BESS) and the financing of energy storage as an institutional infrastructure asset class.

Before joining Kommunalkredit, Gareth held senior project finance, business development, and strategy positions at ABO Wind and Suntech and previously led the development of a solar PV pipelines in Japan. He recently delivered a guest lecture for Battery Associates’ BatteryMBA programme on the bankability and financing of battery storage projects.

Henri Taskinen is the CEO and a co-founder of Capalo AI, with a background in applied physics and climate change modeling. Capalo AI optimizes and trades large-scale standalone and co-located battery energy storage systems fully automatically across all balancing and wholesale markets, maximizing their benefit for the electricity system and value for the asset owner.

Aleksi has strong energy market experience spanning over two decades, with a career built across senior commercial and trading roles in the energy sector. In recent years, his focus has been on starting and scaling new businesses in the energy sector, bringing a hands-on entrepreneurial perspective to renewable energy and power markets.

He has broad expertise across trading, hedging, commodity procurement, B2B sales, retail sales, and risk management, giving him a well-rounded and commercially grounded view of European power markets and what it takes to optimize revenue across a portfolio of renewable assets.

Kari is Head of Revenue at Aukera Energy, a renewable and energy storage IPP with ca 900 MW of solar PV and BESS projects in construction across Europe with a pipeline of over 14 GW of solar PV, onshore wind and BESS. He is a commercially minded engineer structuring and executing revenue strategies across solar PV, wind and BESS with over 4 GW of projects brought to construction across Europe. Kari has over 15 years of professional experience and has previously led offtake origination at CVC DIF, an infrastructure fund manager with over 16 bn EUR AUM, as well as at OX2, a leading IPP.

Joffrey Faucon is Head of Products at Nord Pool, part of the Euronext Group, where he leads product development for Auctions, Continuous trading, Post Trade and Data Services. Based in Helsinki, Joffrey manages a growing cross-functional team spanning Espoo, Oslo, and remote locations across Europe.

He is also Co-Chair of the Energy Committee at the French-Finnish Chamber of Commerce and serves as a Foreign Trade Advisor (CCE) to the French Ministry of Economy.

Jolanta Graudone is the Head of the System Ancillary Services Unit at AS Augstsprieguma tīkls (AST), Latvia’s electricity transmission system operator. In her role, she is responsible for the development and operation of ancillary services and has led key projects related to balancing market development in the Baltic region and Latvia, supporting regional market integration and power system stability.

Jolanta played a key role in AST’s integration into the MARI and PICASSO platforms and in the launch of the Baltic balancing capacity market by the Baltic TSOs. Her current work focuses on the further development of flexibility market frameworks, market participant integration, and the improvement of prequalification and monitoring processes.

Donatas Matelionis is Head of the Power System Operations department at Litgrid AB, the Lithuanian transmission system operator, where he has worked for over 16 years. He previously led the Operational Planning Division for a decade and has served on the Supervisory Board of Baltic RCC OÜ since 2022. Donatas brings deep expertise in transmission system operations and regional grid coordination across the Baltic energy market.

Priyanka holds a PhD in short-term electricity markets from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. With over nine years of experience in the energy industry, she brings deep expertise in market trends and modelling.

She currently works as a Power Market Expert at Montel Analytics, specialising in short-term electricity markets including day-ahead, intraday, and balancing markets. Her work focuses on developing decision-making tools for European electricity markets, monitoring regulatory changes, and adapting tools to reflect market updates. Helping customers get the most out of Montel’s analytical products is central to her role, making her the go-to person for technical product expertise. She also contributes to Montel Academy, delivering courses, webinars, and conferences.

Prior to joining Montel, she worked in the energy sector with power producers and BESS owners.

Maria Joki-Pesola is Head of Balance Service and Balancing Markets at Fingrid. She has extensive experience in electricity markets, balancing and reserve markets in Finland and across the Nordic region. Her work focuses on market design, system flexibility and stakeholder management. At Fingrid, she works with stakeholders across the energy sector, including market participants, regulators, and technology providers.

Amit is a Regional Market Head at Modo Energy, where he oversees a team producing independent benchmark indices, revenue forecasts, and market intelligence used by developers, investors, and operators across the European storage sector.

Apostolis leads Pexapark’s market analysis team, specializing in European renewable energy and BESS offtake markets. Before joining Pexapark, he worked at the UK’s Low Carbon Contracts Company on market design and co-location and at Wood Mackenzie, where he advised clients on BESS supply chain trends and market intelligence. Apostolis holds degrees in International Political Economy from LSE and Energy Law from TU Berlin.

Bo Nordberg is a Director in the Project & Structured Finance team at the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB), where he focuses on financing renewable energy, energy storage, infrastructure, CCS, data centre and other project-financed assets. He has more than 20 years of experience in project finance, credit and capital markets. Prior to NIB, Bo held senior roles at Danske Bank and the Danish ECA EIFO working on a range of international renewable energy and infrastructure transactions, including wind, biomass and industrial projects.

Philip is co-founding partner, CCO and Managing Director of EnAuxo, with over 25 years of experience across the energy and finance sectors.

He leads teams and processes delivering bankable studies, asset valuations, DDs along the full energy value chain, incl. flex battery storage (BESS), gas-fired CCGTs/GTs/CHPs/OCGTs, hydro, renewables, power grids, trading, cross-border / regional strategic flows and wider energy infrastructure. He combines quantitative market analysis with strong commercial judgement across 30+ markets, with in-depth coverage of Austria, CSEE/South-East Europe and the New Silk Road markets.

Lauri Neuvonen leads AFRY’s Finnish flexibility report development and has led several RES, BESS and flexibility related business potential, scenario and strategy projects. He has over 15 years of experience in management consulting and R&D, working with clients such as energy utilities, banks, developers and industrial companies. He holds a D.Sc. in management science from Aalto University where he studied the use of modeling in strategic decision-making situations.

Liuba Andreeva is an energy market expert with more than 20 years of experience across power systems, electricity markets, and energy asset management. She currently serves as COO at Capalo AI, bringing expertise in energy trading, portfolio management, and product development.

Throughout her career, Liuba has worked in both Polish and international energy companies as a certified power trader, portfolio manager, and Head of Portfolio Management. Her experience spans electricity market operations, ancillary services, and cross-border energy systems.

Liuba brings hands-on experience from electrical power plant operations and extensive collaboration with transmission system operators across five countries. She holds a Master’s degree in Engineering, specializing in automated systems for power plants, and combines deep technical expertise with a strong data-driven approach.

Panu Matilainen is Market Origination Lead at Capalo AI, where he leads the company’s long term offtake agreements across 11 countries. In this role, he works to secure the commercial partnerships that underpin Capalo AI’s battery energy storage system optimization and trading business across Europe.

Since joining Capalo AI, Panu has held several commercial roles, including Business Development Executive and Business Development Manager, before moving into his current position as Market Origination Lead. Across these roles, he has built a deep understanding of how technical energy market dynamics connect with commercial strategies.

Before joining Capalo AI, Panu worked as a trainee at eSett in Helsinki, gaining early exposure to the Nordic energy market.

Kristiina Siilin is Head of Product at Capalo AI, where she leads the product vision and roadmap for Zeus VPP, its virtual power plant.

She previously built and led Capalo AI’s Customer Success function. Before Capalo AI, she worked at Helsinki energy company Helen, where she led the optimisation development team and developed new business in battery energy storage, flexibility and smart energy management.

Her work in energy storage began with research on flow batteries and the Suvilahti battery storage project, alongside EU Horizon 2020 projects on smart grids and flexibility. Kristiina holds a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Jyväskylä and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tampere University of Technology.

Pauline has been part of the Clean Horizon consulting team for two years. Her expertise lies in the analysis of the Finnish BESS market, the optimisation and sizing of storage projects, and the training of storage players across Europe on BESS challenges.
